West Bowling Activity Group (WBAG) works with and/or have received funding from the following organisations/agencies:
| Bowling Old Lane Cricket Club (BOLCC) BOLCC have kindly provided us with facilities for sports events over several years. We have worked in partnership on several projects such as BD5 Dads, Community Sports Development, Sports Day for 5-18 year-olds and Eid Street Party. Bowling Old Lane Ladies Group We have worked together to lots of projects and activities such as exercise classes, fundraising events, Eid street party and education classes. Bradford City Challenge Foundation Ltd (BCCF) BCCF have been providing funding for many years, enabling us to improve the facilities, provide educational materials and organise additional training courses. Bradford College Bradford College have been one of our most important partners by providing high quality training courses such as Childcare level 3. Bradford Council Various departments within the Bradford Council have provided us with help, advice, training and financial support over many years such as Sports day, IT classes, swimming, day trips for youngsters and Hate Crime training. Bradford Trident We have been working closely with Bradford Trident on various projects over many years. They are always supportive of our work and projects. CNET CNET have provided funding to WBAG for various projects over several years. CNET are always helpful and supportive of our organisation through help, advice and funding. Madni Academy We work closely with the Madni Academy to organize joint events such as day trips, sports and education sessions. Near Neighbours We have received funding, help and advice to enable us to partner with other similar organisations, in providing help, support and assistance to the most vulnerable in our community. St Stephen’s Church We are close neighbours and have undertaken many projects together with the Church from Charity Bike Rides, Badminton, gardening and Eid Street Party. FCC Communities Foundation Ltd. Have provided WBAG with significant funds for the re-development of facilities at the Madni Centre from a 37-flat residential to a modern Community Hub. West Bowling Advice Centre Located very close to our centre, we have work together with the WB Advice Centre on a number of projects including supporting refugees and others in need through our joint Here2Help project. West Bowling Islamic Society (WBIS) WBIS are our landlords and have been very helpful in providing facilities, help and advice over several years. West Bowling Youth Initiative (WBYI) We have an excellent working relationship built over many years through mutual friendship. Many activities and events have been organised together for benefit of the local community. Workers Education Association (WEA) WEA have provided several training courses for women at our premises over recent last year such as IT Training, Yogalates and Aromatherapy. |
